HISTORY IN CONTEXT
History-based course. Participants examine how those in power have created, maintained, and manipulated categories of race throughout U.S. history. Past/present connections demonstrate how legacies of injustice shape systems and society in the 21st century.
EQUITY IN EDUCATION
Discussion-based workshop. Educators learn strategies for building trust, cultivating empathy, and facilitating meaningful conversations about race and equity with students.
History-based course. Participants learn how liberal and progressive ideologies, especially those held by white people, maintain and contribute to racist systems.
Discussion-based workshop. Participants will engage in self-reflection and embrace intentionality as they develop a framework for raising confidently color-conscious children.
EQUITY IN THE WORKPLACE
Two-part training featuring history-based course and discussion-based workshop. Participants will develop a deeper understanding of how systemic racism shapes society and the workplace. They will work collaboratively to diagnose inequities and shape a customized action plan for cultivating racial equity in their organization.
